To Know Her
On November the 11th, 2000, Victor the budgie got a new friend. We named her Betty. We only brought her home about three hours prior to this recording. Victor seemed to like her and had something to say in the mike so I recorded him. In the recording, he is excited and talking very fast. It's quite incredible how he seems nervous about what to do as he had never seen another budgie since he was a few weeks old.
In this clip Victor says:
What do you want me to say to know her?
Victor yeah, stay like a man was today.
I thought you go to school to away.
What is telling Victor I'm blessed.
I'm happy that thing machine.
At least me can play with her. ...
She talk fast.
Something to keep me out my sure, from cage.
Maybe you poor me odor.
Me go to her, Maybe I have to do something.
Yes maybe you have to push me.
It's a mirror.
Tell me what you know it cost for her too Ok.
Your to say to her, for sure. Thank you.
At the store.
You do this.
Tell me I'm best my Betty.
